National Library Week: April 20 - 25 - Stop in all week for our scavenger hunt, book walk, and dress up days and enter to win a copy of I’m So Happy You’re Here by Mychal Threets every time you visit.
Monday: Dress like your favorite book character!
Tuesday: Dress like your favorite librarian!
Wednesday: Wear your coziest reading clothes!
Thursday: Wear your favorite book/movie/library merch!
Friday: Dress in your favorite library’s colors! (Green for Green River, Blue for White Mountain and Yellow for Rock Springs.)
Month Long Drop In Events at the Sweetwater County Library
Kentucky/Wyoming Derby Coloring Contest: Color the fastest horse in the land! Then visit the library to vote for your horse and watch it race. Prizes for the three “fastest” horses.
Side Quests: Build! Read! Win! Complete a quest and collect a prize.
Storywalk: Enjoy this eco-friendly children's book that teaches simple ways to protect the environment in the fresh Wyoming air. Then visit the library to explore more with our interactive book display and nature exploration packs. Located on the Barbara Carroll Memorial Pathway at the Green River Recreation Center
Teen Trivia: Every time you visit the library try our teen bubble machine for your chance to be a winner. Exciting new trivia every month!

Coloring Contest: Calling all artists! We need some color on our walls. Will you help? Pick up a coloring sheet anytime the library is open and bring it back by the end of the month for a chance to win a fun prize!
Quests: There are side quests at the library just waiting for you to take them. Choose your quest at the Youth Desk and win a prize for completing it!
Poem a Day: We’re sharing a new poem every day this month in Youth Services. Read one every time you come in and enter to win a set of poetry magnets so you can create at home!
