Pet Valentines: February 2 - 14 - Bring a picture of your pet to put on our wall, and let other patrons write them Valentines! Every Valentine you write to a pet enters you for a chance to win a prize. Collect your pet’s valentines after Valentines Day!

Reading Dragons Coloring Contest: January 2 - February 14 - Design a griffin to be our newest Reading Dragon card and you could win an afternoon at the library and work with Miss Becky and turn your design into a card! Contest is open to youth in Kindergarten - 12th grade.
Blind Date with a Book: February 2 - 28 - Pick from a variety of wrapped books, title unknown and go on a blind date with a book!
Side Quests - Winter Olympic Edition: Grab a quest and hit the slopes! Complete a quest and collect a prize.
Teen Trivia: Every time you visit the library try our teen bubble machine for your chance to be a winner. Exciting new trivia every month!
Teen Take & Make: Get a Winter Break Take and Make kit. Kits available while supplies last. For Teens 6th-12th grade.
StoryWalk®: I like Myself by Karen Beaumont: New Story this January 2026 - Located on the Barbara Carroll Memorial Pathway at the Green River Recreation Center - Enjoy this colorful story about confidence and self-esteem in the fresh Wyoming air. Then visit the library to explore more and make a mini book.

Downtown RSL Snowman: January 28 - February 28 - The Downtown Rock Springs Snowmen are back! Stop in to pick up your scavenger hunt sheet starting January 28th. Turn your completed sheets back in at the library for a small prize, and a chance to win a snowman bundle.
Challenge a Librarian: February 6 - 21 - The Winter Olympics are here, and the Youth Librarians are ready to battle! Test your skills against a librarian in Youth Services once a day from February 6 - 21! Every win enters you in a drawing for a Winter Olympics themed prize.
Coloring Contest: Calling all artists! We need some color on our walls. Will you help? Pick up a coloring sheet any time the library is open and bring it back by the end of the month for a chance to win a fun prize!
