Teen Trivia: Every time you visit the library try our teen bubble machine for your chance to be a winner. Exciting new trivia every month!
Teen Take & Make: Get a Winter Break Take and Make kit. Kits available while supplies last. For Teens 6th-12th grade.
The Stories That Shaped Us Book Ornament: Pick up a book or gnome themed ornament at the front desk. Decorate at home or at the library. Return your ornament to the front desk. All ornaments will be displayed on our Christmas tree.

Winter Reading: December 1 - January 31 - We’re reading with our gnomies this winter! Kids can collect fun resin gnomes on their way to a color-changing cup of hot chocolate! Adults will be entered into fun prize basket drawings with each log returned. Sign up anytime starting December 1st at any Sweetwater County Library.
Month Long Drop in Events at the Rock Springs Library
Coloring Contest: Calling all artists! We need some color on our walls. Will you help? Pick up a coloring sheet any time the library is open and bring it back by the end of the month for a chance to win a fun prize!
Solstice Kits: December 15 Until Gone - The longest night of the year is almost here, and we’re missing the sun. Pick up a kit to make an outdoor suncatcher to celebrate the longer days that are headed our way! A limited number of kits are available on a first come, first serve basis.
Teen Take & Make: December 1 Until Gone - Celebrate National Make Up Your Mind Day with a kit that might help on the tougher decisions. Learn all about Magic 8 Balls in Youth Services this month then take home a kit to make your own! Number of kits are limited and will be handed out on a first come first serve basis. This activity is open to kids in the sixth grade & over.
Wishing Tree: Send your wish for the new year off by tying a ribbon on our tree. We’ll gather the ribbons at the end of the season and display them next year to remind us of all the things we wished for!

Gnome Crafts: Celebrate Winter Reading with a variety of gnome crafts throughout the month.
Gingerbread Book Character Guessing: Can you guess who the book character is - gingerbread style?
Guessing Jar: How many holiday bells are in the jar? Take your best guess.
Look & Find Holiday Fish Tank: Can you find all the holiday items we’ve hidden in our Fish Tank?
Holiday Scavenger Hunt: We love the holidays! Can you find all the holiday items we’ve hidden in Youth Services?
Holiday Craft; Make a tree out of pipe cleaners and perler beads.
Check It Out: Help the gnomes have a wintry holiday. Every checkout adds to the fun.
Author Spotlight: This month we’re highlighting Chris Van Allsburg. Learn about the author and make a ticket craft to celebrate their work.
Choose Your Path...Literally!: Choose your path through the story and the library as you experience our story walk with a choose your adventure twist!
Teen Take Home: Stop in and grab a kit to make a Pinecone Tree at home. Limited to 20 kits.
