2011 Ghost Walk Save-the-date Notice

August 30, 2011 on 4:30 pm | In Article | No Comments

The staff members that work on the Ghost Walk each year are gearing up once again.  Today we had our first official meeting to plan this year’s Ghost Walk.  You may ask why I am telling you this so soon.  The last two months we have been getting calls and having patrons stop by to put their names on the list.  As always we do not take names until October 1st of each year.

We are hoping to do things a little differently this year.  Several changes will be made to the schedule for your convenience.  First we are having two separate walks.  The first will be on Saturday October 22nd and the second on Saturday October 29th.  Each session will have four one hour walks, 6pm, 7pm, 8pm and 9pm.  You will need to sign up for one session only due to high demand.  As always once the sign-up sheets are full we will take names for a callback list.

Because there usually are around 100 people per evening strict guidelines will be made and enforced.

We allow cell phones as long as they are placed on mute or silent mode.  You are allowed to record with cell phones, digital recorders, camcorders, etc.  You do ask that you share any and all evidence you find with us so that we too can share the information in the Ghost Log and on the High Spirits: Ghost Log Blog.

Attendees are asked to respect each other and act accordingly.  Try to keep all talking low so that those recording are better able to gather evidence.  By being better organized and following the guidelines we hope that we will all have a great time and we are all able to capture great evidence.

To view previous evidence and listen to the evps or electronically voice phenomenon go to the search box at the top of this page and type in “evp”.  A list of all the articles that I have posted with evps with appear.

Remember no names will be taken until October 1st.   Mark your calendars and send a reminder to yourself.
