This March find peace, meet homeschooling families, join a book club or learn how to clean chemical free with one of the programs being offered at the White Mountain Library by the Sweetwater County Library System.
On Thursday, March 7 at 7 p.m. at the White Mountain Library meditation instructor Chad Millemon will present advanced meditation techniques. Join Millemon for a 30 minute group meditation session followed by a review of basic practices and a short Q & A. Beginning as well as advanced practitioners are invited to attend.
Also on Thursday, March 7 at the White Mountain Library, a homeschooling open house from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Area homeschooling families are invited to stop by the library for science activities and a chance to meet other local homeschoolers.
A new book club is being organized at the White Mountain Library for adults who read young adult fiction. Meet Thursday, March 14 at 6:30 p.m. at the library to discuss young adult fiction and decide on a first book.
Interested in learning how to clean chemical free? The Rock Springs Holistic Health Group will present “Clean Green! Makeover Your Cleaning Cabinet” on Wednesday, March 20 at 7 p.m. at the White Mountain Library. Discover how and why to clean green.
In addition, the White Mountain Library will be offering basic mouse and keyboarding classes. These classes are scheduled for Tuesday, March 12 at 10 a.m. and Tuesday, March 19 at 10 a.m. Both instruction and guided practice will be provided. Advanced registration is not required.
