can I return items that I checked out? |

All print and non-print materials
may be returned to any of the Sweetwater County libraries.
Borrowed equipment must be returned to the lending
library.

How
do fines work in the library system? |

Overdues
Fines:
There are no fines for overdue materials. If material
becomes 21 days overdue, the items will be considered
lost and the patron's card will be blocked. |

How
do I get a library card? |
 |
 |
Library cards must be presented
for all transactions. A parent/guardian signature is required
for all children under the age of 16. The first library
card is free. There is a $3.00 replacement charge for
a lost or stolen card. ID is required when you are applying
for a card.
Your Sweetwater
County Library System card may be used at any library
in the State of Wyoming. Patrons using other county
libraries must adhere to each individual library's circulation
policies. |

Is
it possible to check out items from other county libraries? |

Yes! Patrons
may ask that we borrow library materials from other libraries
if our library does not own the material. In order to
maintain a good working relationship with other libraries,
we ask you to please return materials on time.
If you have any questions on Interlibrary
Loans, please call your local library.

How
long do I have before I must return items back to the
library system? |

All items check out for three
weeks, with the exception of videos which are for one
week only.
Special items such
as AV Equipment will have a three-day check out.

How can I reserve a meeting room for an
event I wish to host? |
 |
 |
Meeting
rooms may be reserved for public, not-for-profit, non-commercial
use. All meetings must be open to the public with no admission
fee. A reservation form is to be submitted prior to the
event to the library where it is being held. A form can
be obtained from your library or from this website.

Does
the library system provide notary services to patrons? |

Sweetwater County Library,
White Mountain Library, and Rock Springs Library each
have free notary services. If you require the services
of a notary, please contact your local library before
going there to be sure the notary is on duty. |
